Invicta Water Begins Drinking Water Project for PFAS Treatment with Town of Cary, NC

Invicta Water is proud to announce its latest PFAS treatment project , this time in conjunction with the Town of Cary, North Carolina. The project is a 100,000 gallon per day pilot at the Cary/Apex Water treatment Plant targeting the removal and destruction of PFAS in situ in drinking water. The project will run for six months, and will provide the Town with data for decision making on future PFAS treatment solutions.

Invicta Water will manage the pilot in conjunction with Carolina Civil Works and the Town of Cary.

The project will take place at the Cary/Apex Water Treatment Facility, which holds a unique place among a small and distinguished group of water treatment facilities recognized with the President’s Award for Water Treatment from The Partnership for Safe Water. The facility has participated in the program since 1995 and has received the Directors Award annually since 2003. The President’s Award has requirements that are substantially more stringent than the Directors Award.
